NAA’s Residential Property Management (RPM) Careers Week is July 18-22 with Apartment Onsite Teams Day on July 20th. So what’s it all about and why/how should you celebrate it at your community?

Let’s get real here… our industry is facing huge challenges. For many, operating during a pandemic was the giant log (no straw here) that broke the camel’s back and we have lots of people jumping from the multifamily ship. Others are so burnt out they are numb. RPM Careers Week is the perfect opportunity to raise morale with appreciation and hire new personnel to add new life to your team.

Who can participate? EVERYONE!

EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION GIFTS

We often focus on resident retention, but what about employee retention? If you have a great team member, don’t lose them! Say thank you on Apartment Onsite Teams Day (July 20th) or any day of the year with these designs.

Gift: Muffins. Grab some fresh muffins on your way to work.

Members, grab this “there is muffin like an amazing team member” design and print it out. Place it in a shadow box frame next to a plate of fresh muffins in the leasing office. Be sure to let maintenance know to grab some too! Alternative: Print out our design as 4-per-page and attach a small flyer to individually wrapped muffins. Leave them on your team members’ desks.
